His unique forays into the inner city and public school systems gives him a background and credibilty that instantly resonates with the people. A Dr Laz Shabbaton has it all - amazing personal stories, rousing singing that gets everyone involved, compelling insights, and all with the unique Chassidisher/hip hop blend , that is Dr Laz!"

"The first time I read Skullcaps 'N Switchblades was many years ago in Kansas City. Now more than 20 years later, my son brought it home from the school library. Waiting impatiently for him to finish (luckily he devoured it!) at last I had my turn! Once again, I found it (as your students might put it) - insiprational, sensational, & truly amazin'-ay-shun-al. I look forward to the extended edition of the book. Peace & blessings."

"Thanks so much for the wonderful concert that you did for us on Purim - as well as the inspiring talk you gave at our 'Friday Night Live' dinner. We really enjoyed having you in 'jolly ol' and everyone said what a fantastic time they had and what a great hit you were. Who would have believed in England?! Your love of humanity shines through everything you do and is matched by a warm humility and gentleness together with the pulsating and thumping stories and rhythms that you sing. You really gave your all for us and we really appreciate it. You were one of the best musicians we have had here & we've had more than a few!"
The Overlanders
Hendon, England

We recently had Dr Laz at our annual dinner. It was amazing! He’s funny, entertaining, engaging and on track with the chabad message. He is a mentch, with a strong connection to the Rebbe and he has a great story to tell. His music is fun and most of all he has a unique ability to loosen up a crowd and engage them.
Rabbi Nochum Kurinsky, Ponte Verde Beach

On behalf of the 2009 Pediatric Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Conference Organizing Committee we'd like to express our sincerest appreciation to you and your group of fantastic people for participating in our conference again this year. Importantly, you showed over 100 professionals creative new ways of reaching and connecting with and improving the lives of children and young adults with special needs. Your use of assistive technology was also very inspiring and innovative, and you actually had people out of their seats taking part in an interactive way. If you think of our conference as a hot fudge sundae, your performance was the cherry on top!

Dr. Laz is personable, energetic and inspiring. His stories were engaging, humorous and full of content that people from all perspectives learned from and were motivated by. The concert was rocking and he got people up front dancing & singing along. We could not recommend him with any higher accolades. You are missing something special if you haven't had him speak and/or play.
